What is the “Kasai Village Safe Stay program”?

At Kasai Village the safety of our guests has always been our number one priority. To further ensure and enhance this we have implemented not only the protocols and guidelines required by the Department of Health, the Department of Tourism, DAN, GUE and Moalboal Dive Association but also some of our own protocols. To make this easier for you to read and understand we have created the “Kasai Village Safe Stay” program. The program represents all the protocols and guidelines that we will fulfil as part of our standard operating procedures.

Arriving To Moalboal & Local Travel

When you first arrive in Moalboal you MUST register at Municipal Tourism Office, present your booking confirmation and then you will be issued a pass slip. Your pass slip will be need to be presented at the checkpoints around Moalboal.

Please note that we currently have Municipal-wide curfew from 12:00AM until 5AM.

On arrival at Kasai Village all guests are required to complete a Health Declaration Form.

Moalboal is currently under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ). You can visit here if you are also coming from a MGCQ area. Unfortunately, at this time, you are not allowed to travel here if you are coming from an area under General Community Quarantine.

Kasai Village Certificates & Accreditations

Kasai Village Dive Resort has been a Department of Tourism (DOT) accredited Resort and Dive Centre since 2010. We are also a  PHILIPPINE COMMISSION ON SPORTS SCUBA DIVING (PCSSD) member. In accordance with the DOT, Local Government (LGU) and DOH, Kasai Village has fulfilled all requirements, protocols and safety regulations and is now certified with the authority to operate in a safe manner.

Mactan Cebu Airport Protocols

Once arrived at Mactan Cebu airport, you will notice that this international airport implemented new regulations and measures due to COVID-19. Not only to ensure you’re healthy before entering Cebu, but also to make sure the airport is clean and disinfected.

Just a few examples that are noted in their protocol are:
– All passengers are required to wear face masks.
– Social distancing at queuing points will be enforced.
– Mandatory body temperature check of all passengers.

Upgraded Cancelation Protection Policy

In the events of COVID-19 we have created an upgraded Cancelation Protection Policy (CPP). This policy will be an addition to regular policies and can be purchased as an upgrade upon booking a room.

The policy will offer refund of the total amount of money paid; Deposit or Full Invoice – subject to bank transfer fees etc.

COVERAGE:

  • Death, injury or illness of main guest, travel companion/s listed in the booking, family member or business partner.
  • Epidemics or pandemics. This is to include COVID-19 ‘forced’ restrictions/exclusions currently in place and also new restrictions/exclusions implemented in the future.
  • You are called for jury service, attending court as a witness (but not as an expert witness), or redundancy (for you or for any person listed in the booking)
  • Political unrest and natural catastrophe
  • Military redeployment
  • Victim of felonious assault prior to trip.
