PADI Specialty CoursesAt Kasai Village we pride ourselves in providing as much variety in training courses as we can. This can be seen at its best in our range of specialty Courses. These courses are designed to focus on specific areas of diving that you enjoy. By receiving specialized training it enables you to get that much more out of your diving experiences. Society Members:
Enriched Air (Nitrox) SpecialtyEnriched Air diving more commonly known as Nitrox is the way diving is moving. Providing longer bottom time and a much more refreshed feeling after diving because of the elimination of nitrogen. In this two-day program divers are trained in the save planning, use and analyzing of Enriched air to comply with PADI standards and safe diving practice. Participants will also be completing two Enriched air dives using different percentages of oxygen.

Boat Diver SpecialtyWhether you’ve never made a boat dive or you’ve logged dozens, the PADI Boat Diver Specialty course can benefit almost every diver because different boats in different parts of the world do things differently. Diving from a boat is fun, especially when you look at ease when maneuvering around on it. It’s fun to know what you’re doing.

Drift Diver SpecialtyThe PADI Drift Diver Specialty course introduces you to the coolest magic carpet ride you’ll ever experience. This course shows you how to enjoy rivers and ocean currents by “going with the flow,” staying with your dive partner, communicating with the dive boat and knowing where you are the whole time. Drift Diving is nearly effortless and relaxing. You simply glide along and enjoy the rush of flying underwater while the current does the work.

Underwater Photography SpecialtyIf you ever wanted to show your friends what diving was like or the amazing things you see under water this course is the answer you’ve been looking for. This intensive two day training program covers the full scope of underwater photography from wide angle to macro and teaches participants some of the finer details to taking great pictures.

Scuba divers like to be neutrally buoyant so they neither sink nor float. It can be a tricky thing. Divers who’ve mastered the highest performance levels in buoyancy stand apart. You’ve seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover, almost as if by thought. They interact gently with aquatic life and affect their surroundings minimally. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy course refines the basic skills you learned as a PADI Open Water Diver and elevates them to the next level. Neutrally buoyant scuba divers dive effortlessly. The fun part of this course is giving your dive skills a polish you may not have thought possible.

Deep Diver SpecialtyFor those who enjoyed the experience of being at 30 meters during their advanced Open Watercourse the PADI Deep Diver Course is the one for you. During the run of this program divers get introduced to the theory behind deep diving as well as hand on practical experience. Students complete four dives averaging 30 meters or deeper. After completion of the program participants max Depth limit is increased to 40 meters.

Wreck Diver SpecialtyOne of the most popular PADI specialty courses, the Wreck Diver program is often done in conjunction with the Deep Diver course. During Wreck Diver training candidates are trained in the full spectrum of wreck diving ranging from mapping the sight, finding entry and exit points and use of penetration lines. On the fourth and final dive of the course student divers get the opportunity to penetrate the wreck under direct supervision of their PADI instructor?

You can be one of them by championing the causes of the world’s most fragile and important aquatic ecosystems. The Fun Part You can make a difference. Learn about some of the most pressing problems facing these vulnerable environments and everyday actions you can take to help conserve them. It’s informative, interesting and most importantly, you learn how to make a difference. Night Diver SpecialtyEver wondered what it’s like to dive at night and what makes it different from day diving? Them the PADI Night Diver Specialty is the course for you. During this program students get the chance to experience all the excitement of diving at night under the supervision of a PADI instructor. The course covers various night diving procedures as well a navigating at night combined with pre and post dive planning. Incorporated in the course are four night dives and one session of lectures, but it’s mainly designed as a hands on experience.

Underwater Navigator SpecialtyFor those who like to know where they’re going under water, this course will be the way to go. During this program participants learn the ins and outs of underwater navigation, using both compass and natural navigation. This is the answer to navigation problems that you’ve always been looking for.

Are you looking for lost “treasure”? The PADI Search and Recovery Diver Specialty course will teach you effective ways to find objects underwater and bring them to the surface. Small, large or just awkward, there is a way to bring them up. The Fun Part Find lost items and lift them to the surface. It’s fun to use the lift bag. Not only are these skills fun, but very practical and ultimately useful because eventually, you’ll lose something in the water. As a Search and Recovery Diver, you’ll know how to search for and recover it.
