PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER

Duration: 3 days (including 1 day diving prior to starting the 2-day course)

When you have achieved a minimum of 5 ‘Adventure Dives’ in your own time, you are eligible to be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver. You can complete these dives either separately or at different times, in different locations or all together over 2 full days accompanied by a PADI Instructor. When booking the full Advanced Course with us, all 5 dives are taken over a 2-day period. This is a great choice if you’re looking to increase your capabilities and gain more experience in different underwater activities.

To be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, you must take part in a Deep dive and a Navigation dive. You can choose 3 of the remaining Adventure dives with your instructor from the following:

• Boat
• Drift
• Fish Identification
• Multilevel and Computer
• Night
• Peak Performance Buoyancy
• Search and Recovery
• Underwater Naturalist
• Underwater Photography
• Wreck
• Enriched Air Nitrox

The dives will be from boat and from shore and we do ask all guests to complete a day’s diving prior to starting this course. This is included in the cost and is to check weights, buoyancy and equipment. Adventure Dives give you a taste of the various specialty courses on offer and can even count as the first dive of that relevant specialty - taking you closer to become a Specialty diver!
