Discovery beyond expectations

KASAI WALL - Our Fabulous House Reef

On our house reef you will find a lots of different things! Everything from small damselfishes to big green turtles as well as both soft and hard corals. In the Staghorn corals, at the top of the reef, you can find the colorful mandarinfish.

The reef is very famous in Moalboal so you can often see lots of visiting boats in the area. Turtles, Barracudas, Angelfish, Butterflyfish, Lionfish, Hawkfish, Nudibranch, yeah, everything you can imagine can appear and if you are lucky you can also see a Whale shark.

In the beginning of the dive there is a sandy area where you can spend a while looking at the small fishes like for example the Leaf Pipefish. The wall consists of small caves, impressive overhangs and cracks running all the way from the top of the reef until 40m depth. It’s a good idea to bring a torch when you go here because in the small caves you will see a very funny fish called the comet.

In the night the wall is transformed to a paradise for Shrimps, Crabs, Octopuses and other night living creatures.

More or less a heaven for underwater photographers.
