Diving in Moalboal

Moalboal has been a diving Mecca since the early 1980's and it’s still considered one of the best places for diving in the Philippines. In December 2006 the Municipal hall of Moalboal decided to protect the coral reefs further by making the whole area an enormous marine park.

Today we are proud to be contributing towards a common goal to preserve the reefs together with the local fishermen. There are more then 35 divesite within 1,5 hours boat ride from the resort.  And close to the resort there are 19 good divesites that will give you a good variety on your diving holiday. Important information:

• If you haven’t dived for some time, for safety reasons we recommend you take a Scuba Review as recommended by your training organisation (most suggest 6 months), booked for the first day. Alternatively this can be completed prior to arrival
• All divers are required to fill in a Liability Release prior to diving activities.
• All divers should be suitably insured. Recommend are DAN - Divers Alert Network www.dan.org

Useful information:

• The dive schedule is arranged on a day-to-day basis with your Dive guide and the Dive Centre. Special trips and additional dives are arranged locally with the Dive Centre and is subject to availability, minimum numbers and, in some cases diving experience.
• All divers must ensure a minimum of 12 hours between the last dive and the flight departure.

Additional mandatory charge payable locally:

• Marine park fee Php100/dive/diver
