Kasai Village Dive and Spa Resort – How it began

Kasai Village Resort was originally opened in October 2006 under Swedish management. Since then it is managed carefully by Michael O.J Pettersson and his wife Lydia. They are assisted by additional resort staff, Instructors, Divemasters and the always helpful native boatmen, familiar with the area. In accordance with nature, Kasai Village Resort was gradually developed.

Snorkeling and Scuba Diving far away from mass tourism

The Kasai Village Resort is a destination for divers and nature enthusiasts searching for first class dive spots away from overcrowded areas and commercialization. For this reason we pay special attention to keeping the diving groups small on our boats (maximum of six to eight divers). To ensure that you can really enjoy your dives, we attach great importance to safety, service and the complete satisfaction of our guests. Before the dive begins, we inform you about special conditions of the actual dive site, the underwater fauna and flora and the specific safety guidelines. Whenever possible we try to fulfill your personal requests. In addition to Swedish we also speak English, German, Spanish, Italian and French.

Environmentally friendly and sustainable development to protect the nature

We carry on a sustainable development in accordance with nature and the native inhabitants of the island. Our overall aim is the protection and preservation of the unique beauty of Cebu Island and it's environment. To ensure that future generations will enjoy it, we take special care of the environment. Garbage is whenever possible avoided or is disposed separately and environment-careful. Our activity is characterized by the consciousness of our social, public and ecological responsibility.

We offer accommodation which is handmade and built by local artisans with much attention to details. As the main employer in barangay Tuble we offer to our team progressive salary conditions and social conditions. We attach great importance to an ambience which is shaped by the goodwill to cooperate, tolerance and respect of individual dignity. Relationships among our staff members as well as with our clients are driven by the power of partnership. The power of partnership engenders involvement, contribution and mutual support.
